Recruiter (part-time) – Real Estate Marketing & SaaS Tech

$20-$30 hour based on experience and relevant industry recruiting experience.

Looking for experienced help sourcing ideal candidates for multiple positions throughout the organization including sales, support, digital marketing, web development, engineering, and accounting. Applicants are all inbound and recruiting efforts will be on evaluating inbound candidates - no proactive initial outreach or cold calling necessary.   

This is a new position that is necessitated by our continued and rapid growth. This role will be on the front lines of screening and evaluating job applicants for Ylopo. You’ll be the first person that establishes contact with candidates, thereby setting critical first impressions of our company to external applicants. You’ll also assist our hiring managers with candidate evaluation, follow-up, and interview scheduling.

We’re a growing and evolving company and need someone to help us continually optimize our recruitment processes, find new talent pools, and identify areas of automation and personalization. This position will drive the future direction of recruitment within the company and for the right person will most likely lead to a full-time position.

In this role you will:

  • Work with hiring managers to develop new job descriptions and post them to our website

  • Post positions to job boards aligned to the audience for the role

  • Collaborate with hiring managers regarding their top priorities for assessing candidates

  • Screen incoming candidates as they apply to determine which ones are the best fit to proceed to future stages in our interview process

  • Inform applicants of their status, answer their incoming questions about the role/company and schedule interviews as necessary

  • Aid hiring managers in preparing materials and granting access to information for candidates completing interview tasks

  • Provide applicants with the appropriate system access during tasks and remove their access from the systems once their tasks are completed

  • Provide support during the decision-making process for final candidates

  • Be the focal point for securing NDAs and signed contracts for applicable candidates

  • Continuously evaluate the end-to-end process to determine where and how we can improve the experience of applicants while simultaneously making life easier for hiring managers

Requirements

  • Must have professional experience in recruitment and candidate screening

  • Must be customer centric. This role will support external stakeholders (job applicants) and internal stakeholders (hiring managers)

  • Positive and outgoing persona. You will be the face of the company to hundreds of people

  • Must be highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication. Many of our roles receive more than 100 applicants. Our goal is to treat all of them with the same respect we give our paying customers

  • Experience using LinkedIn, Glassdoor and other resources as recruitment tools are desired but not required

  • Must be mindful and cognizant of the varying time-zones of our applicants

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently - accountable for your own actions and able to act with both urgency and integrity

HR Manager (remote North America)

With over 10,000 online merchants launching subscriptions and over 1,000,000 subscribers powered by ReCharge, we have a lot of store owners to support. As a bootstrapped startup we’ve grown our remote first culture from 4 to 80 employees globally in the past 3 years. To execute our growth strategy and continue to deliver a world class employee experience we’re looking for a People Operations Manager. 

This role will enhance our remote first culture as the company continues to expand and implement policies and processes to scale teams globally. Reporting to the CEO, you will help ReCharge maintain the highest level of employee support while making sure we’re well positioned for the future. This role can be based anywhere in North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the CEO, this role will primarily be responsible for developing the strategic direction for People Ops, and implement the functional steps to achieve our goals.
  • Develop People Operations processes and policies with simple solutions. Implement company-wide programs for performance management, promotion, and compensation.
  • Work on initiatives for diversity, conflict resolution and employee relations.
  • Troubleshoot issues and serve as the escalation point for all things People.
  • Build out remote-first culture initiatives to create an amazing culture with engaged employees.
  • Work with third parties including legal, accounting, benefits providers, etc.
  • Serve as primary HRBP, enabling managers to be successful and provide support as necessary.
  • Work with People Ops and leadership to establish entities or co-employers in new countries as we scale. Coordinate contracts and benefit programs for each entity. Manage co-employer relationships and act as the main point of contact. Partner with legal counsel on international employment and contractual requirements.
  • Understand HR reporting and analytics functions to support effective decision making and business needs.
  • Oversee all off-boarding tasks and provide assistance when needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior HRBP/Generalist experience in a dynamic technology focused company
  • Clear understanding of Human Resources HR, employment laws in the US, Canada and other countries as necessary
  • Experience implementing programs including performance reviews, various types of training and career planning.
  • Clear understanding of on-boarding, internal transfers, learning & development, etc.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; collaborative work style; team player with low-ego
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Strong team player who can jump in and support the team on a variety of topics and tasks
  • Enthusiasm for and broad experience with software tools and proven experience learning quickly

Position Description

As a Recruiter, you will work with Toptal’s Head of Global Recruitment to find top sales people from across the world to join the company. You will be responsible for identifying and recruiting highly qualified applicants to all open sales positions at the company, including executive-level opportunities.

You will have the unique opportunity to work with Toptal leadership to learn how a hyper-growth company scales and hires. You will communicate closely with candidates, including explaining Toptal’s core values and mission to them and seeing them through the entire interviewing process. Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Recruitment to fill the applicant pipeline with highly qualified candidates for all open sales team positions at Toptal.
  • Identify and contact A-players who will thrive at Toptal in executive, VP, and team leadership roles.
  • Communicate extensively with candidates over a variety of channels, explaining open positions to them and continuously assessing whether they would be good fits.
  • Coordinate between key leaders at the company to plan interview funnels that are in line with Toptal’s hiring standards and appropriate for the positions in question.
  • Provide interviewers with extensive background information about each candidate.
  • Support candidates through the core team interview process as their primary point of contact and stay in touch with interviewers to collect feedback and ensure the interview funnel is executed well.
  • Along with the Head of Recruitment, take ownership over the quality of incoming applicants and new hires at the company.
  • Communicate information about new hires to the Head of People Operations that is relevant towards customizing the onboarding process for each new hire.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Communicate constantly with teams via Slack and Zoom.

Requirements:

  • Perfect written and spoken English, and extremely strong communication and people skills.
  • 5+ years of corporate recruitment experience, preferably in-house.
  • Extensive experience recruiting for a variety of sales roles, specifically at the enterprise sales level.
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of requisitions.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with professionals at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to rapidly learn about internal organization structure, culture, and hiring practices.
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of information on candidates from multiple sources.
